They would be right to do this since the sword doesn’t have any great uses but one, and that is being used to create another weapon. The locations of Demon’s Souls have never looked so good, realized in full 4k resolutions at 60 FPS, and you have never played a Souls game on console that looked so breathtaking. Bluepoint has done an excellent job of capturing the same moody darkness of Demon’s Souls, and the environments look and feel much like you would hope, giving off the same vibe they did over a decade ago. In Demon’s Souls players will take on the role of a fallen warrior bound to the Nexus in an attempt to save the land of Boletaria from an endless fog full of demons.

Once unlocked, the door will remain like that even if World Tendency changes later. Besides NK88 added to the game, there has also been many names that have been changed from the original. I intend to create a Guts build in this game, to compliment the work I did in Dark Souls Remastered. Initially, this could have been attributed to Sony’s PC efforts being focused on bringing PS4 titles over first. But given how Returnal is now primed for a February 2023 PC launch, things might be slowly changing. Demon’s Soul was the first iteration of the series that led on to the hugely successful Dark Souls franchise. Companies have slowly been dipping their toes into a $70 price for new games, so this might be the end of the $60 standard. Hopefully PC games will still get a slight discount in some cases, but regardless, there’s always the next Steam sale. This new version of Demon’s Souls is being developed by Bluepoint Games, seemingly without From Software’s collaboration.
